Candy Company Lobbists Behind Extra Hour of Daylight for Halloween?

The New York Times is reporting that the Candy Lobby was one of the main influences behind the one week delay in reverting back to Standard Time to Daylight Time. This gives kids an extra hour to seek Halloween Candies. Did the pumpkins with candy on every Senators seat have anything to do with this. interesting blog piece. Who would have thought it was the Candy Lobby??????

NC Woman Exposes QVC Glitch- Sells 1500 Items on eBay before being Caught!

A North Carolina Woman was shopping on QVC, and noted, that even though she cancelled her online order immmediately after placing it, QVC shipped her the item. Instead of notifying QVC of the bug in their computer system, the woman ordered and cancelled over 1800 items to the tune of $412,000. What did she do with the items? She sold them Victoriously on eBay.  It wasn't until 2 buyers alerted QVC of their eBay purchases still had the items wrapped in QVC branded wrapping that the problem was uncovered . The woman was arrested and charged with the crime.

Admitted Cheaters, The NE Patriots are acting like Bullys now to some in pro sports, running up the score, when they have the game in hand. They can't win can they- everything they do goes against the grain. First they get caught cheating, now they continue to score points when there is no way the opposing team can catch up.  It appears this "running up the score" behavior has the Boston Herald concerned that some crazed opposing team member will take a "shot" at Tom Brady, Pats QB.  Even Former Steeler Coach Bill Cowder says, "....Will Tom Brady pay the Price?"

Hooters Waitress Forgets 17 Month old Son is in Car! Sad Ending

A Phoenix Hooters waitress would drop her 17 month old son off at day care and then she would work her shift at Hooters, but Tuesday- the woman forget to drop her son off. When she returned to her car after 7 + hours, she found her son lifeless in his car seat.  Firefighters were unable to revive the child.  A truly sad story.

Torre the New Dodger Skipper? When is the Announcement?

The reports were rampant as they started last night- Grady Little was going to fired, and Joe Torre was going to replace him as manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers.  There WAS a conference call from the Dodger Organization that Little had resigned. But no Joe Torre next to Lasorda during the announcement. The New York Post is reporting its a 12 million dollar multi year deal.

Office Depot hasn't responded, but they should- the juvevinile behavior of Driver Carl Edwards is more than a little alarming, even if he is joking. The latest outburst had Edwards faking a sucker punch on Teamate Matt Kenseth, this occurred about 15 minutes after the Atlanta 500 this past Sunday. The Fenway camp, fresh off the Boston Red Sox Victory doesn't need this crap. Hey Office Depot- It makes me want to go to Staples or Office Max....Your Silence is Alarming.

Brady follows in the footsteps of 50cent, David Ortiz, and Jennifer Anniston who have endorsement deal with the Coke owned Brand. Coca Cola bought Glaceau Brands for 4.1 Billion dollars during the summer.
