Lisa McConnell of Goshen, IN is pressuring Domino's Pizza to buy her family a new Jack Russell Terrier after a Domino's delivery person accidentally ran over the family's 5 month old pet dog Odie. The accident occurred after a pizza delivery to the McConnell's home. The dog was running in the street, and the driver hit the animal. The family wrote to the local newspaper/website, and according to franchisepick.com, is posting on message boards for sympathy. Their goal is a new puppy delivered to them (not in 30 minutes or less either). In speaking with Jerry at the Goshen News, he recalled a letter to the editor, but as of yet, there has been no news story printed. That may change after the net and bloggers pick up the story.
I am posting the story from Franchisepick.com, as the McConnell's appears to be really zealous in their attempt to pressure the franchisee to buy them a new dog. Sad Story.
It appears the freak fireworks accident that happened last night at Wrestlemania XXIV at Orlando's Citrus Ball is overshadowing the results of the event. The accident occurred after the Undertaker won his match, and it appears a cable broke loose and flying thru the crowd. Once again 1wrestling.com has a story written by Mark Freedman, who was sitting in the section where the accident happened. Friedman points out the lack of immediate response by emergency teams, and the inadequate exits in the upper decks of the stadium. I would say the WWE is quite lucky that more weren't seriously injured.
The WWE official comment was somewhat interesting- especially the line about minor injuries. Major or minor, they should be concerned that it happened...
We're investigating the incident and doing everything we can to find out why it happened and to make sure it never happens again. While we apologize to anyone injured and/or alarmed by this occurrence, we take solace in the fact that the reported injuries were minor.

Rather than write about the antics of Big Show vs Floyd Mayweather at Wrestlemania 24, where Mayweather won by cheating- Here's the 1wrestling.com post. Good work Bob Ryder...(note- the WWE site doesn't have the results of the Mayweather-Big Show Bout - as of 11:20 EDT- Even though all the other results have been posted on the site- Makes one wonder if VKM wants everyone to turn into RAW tomorrow on USA to see the outcome?)
Here's the 1wrestling.com post. Good work Bob Ryder...
Blake Fielder-Civil in jail for trying to bribe a witness in his case, was attacked in jail by a group of men who believed that Fielder-Civil was hiding a stash of Heroin according to News of the World. Blake had already failed 3 drug tests while in Prison, making him a target of other inmates believing he had a stash. No word if his wife Amy Winehouse will write a song about the incident. Another Boring rehab story from the union of Winehouse and Blake-Fielder
Wrestling History was made tonite at Wrestlemania XXIV when Shawn Michaels pinned Rick Flair after connecting with a Superkick. Before Pinning him Bill Apter on 1Wrestling.com said, Michaels said to Flair, I'm Sorry, I love You". Flair Handpicked Michaels for this match which had the stipulation that if Flair was pinned he would retire. Now if in wrestling circles, everyone knows, when there is a retirement match, or a loser leaves town match....the wrestler always comes back. But this match was an emotional one according to Apter- and I personally believe the World's Greatest Wrestler has retired. I pulled a Youtube Classic Flair Interview from !988. He was great on the Mike.
Hugh Laurie is a star, as Dr. Gregory House, a cynical yet brilliant Doctor, Laurie speaks with an American accent, instead of his homeland accent from Britain. The world doesn't know too much about Hugh Laurie, because he hasn't done too many in-depth interviews. Yet this one from the Times Online has Laurie opening up about the success of House, pessimism, his family and much much more. If you love House, you can see that Hugh Laurie transformation into Dr. House is a real good acting job.
The UK Sun published an interview with the Big Show shooting on Floyd "Money" Mayweather, including how the guys backstage feel about a non-wrestler making the money he's making for doing so little. Big Show also shoots on Stone Cold Steve Austin in a funny way.
