Did Arizona State Disband their Cheerleading Squad!- NOPE!! What about those Racy Photos?

RIGINAL POST-I was looking at the "racy" photos of some Arizona State Cheerleaders, and personally I don't see what the big deal is. It's a group of girls, in panties and bras, posing showing their backs and backsides. For this, Arizona State University has disbanded the entire cheerleading squad. The Fact that only 6 of the 16 cheerleaders pose, didn't matter- the entire squad suffered the consequences according to Lisa Love ( I won't touch that name) of ASU - The kicker is the photos are over 2 years old and were a goof- they were posted on a blog - The Dirty". One cheerleader is quoted as saying (to paraphrase) "the school has 
wanted to disband the squad for some time." Is this overreaction from a zealous Arizona State School official? Probably.
UPDATE The Baltimore Sun's Bill Ordine chimes in that the email from Lisa Love was a fake, and that the school is not disbanding the unit- just changing it The photos just happened to published the same week and they are past members of the cheerleading squad. The cheerleading squad is now under the Marching Band Director- Not the Marketing Department. Like Alot of the Media I ran with the story, but am publishing this link to set the record straight....
