Sexual Harassment Vortex Hits The Weather Channel - Hillary Andrews Vs. Bob Stokes!
Wow! I thought all Weather Anchors were like Pat Sajack, Maclovio Perez, Kelly Lange, or Dr. George Fishbeck or even Virginia Booker. I guess, with the advent of Cable TV times have change.... To Find out they even have employee sexual harassment problems at The Weather Channel is like finding that the stripes on a candy cane don't have a different taste.
Former TWC Anchor Hillary Andrews is contending that her Co-Anchor Bob Stokes sexually harassed her by being "romantically obsessed" with her! Andrews contends that TWC turned a blind eye because Stokes was popular with the viewers. Andrews won an arbitration hearing against Stokes and TWC- and TWC is seeking to keep the aribtrators report sealed. Andrews was "forced out" according to The Smoking Gun after repeatedly reporting incidents to management. The alleged harassment got so bad for Andrews, she hid from Stokes between shifts, hoping to avoid her co-anchor. Stokes was fired the day after the arbitration hearing ruling.
