Engadget is reporting that the same liquidators that "gutted" CompUSA is set to handle the closing of 86 Sharper Image Stores nationwide. This is the end of a long run for the Gadget Catalog/Retailer. Sharper Image will be missed. Though the Sharper Image Website is still up, and is promoting Father's Day, with no mention of the store liquidations.
