Is this an epidemic or what? Teachers having sex with students is news wherever it happens..... The latest story to break is that 27-year-old Law and Order Fan Mandi Weeks, a teacher at the Devereux Foundation Red Hook and her 15 year old disabled student. She was arrested for two counts of third-degree rape, three counts of third-degree sexual
act, endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of third-degree
sexual abuse. Police learned of the relationship when the student got lost on the subway and his parents reported him missing, and went thru his emails, and found inappropriate emails from Weeks. The post states that the school has fired Weeks.
Mandi's My Space Page (about me): I got married October 7, 2007. We have 4 cats and 2 kittens. We live in a log cabin in the woods. I work in a residenial (sic) school for students with multiple disabilities which is extremely stressful. My students verbally and physically assault me almost on a daily basis. And people wonder why I started smoking. Hey, at least they are ultra lights. ....as if Klonopin 3 times a day wasn't enough. (Her maiden name was Mead) The fact her MySpace Page says she likes Law and Order makes me wonder when her story will be in an episode.
