Unsaid in Speech: Beau Biden Being Deployed to Iraq- National Guard
Beau Biden alluded in the introduction speech to his father Joe Biden last night at the Democratic convention- he won't be around for his father in the upcoming months. Beau is a Captain in the National Guard is being deployed to Iraq in October. The Washington Post has a story on the deployment issue- and whether Beau will be appointed to serve out his father's Senate term if elected.
You know what really bothers me after posting this story- is that taxpayers are paying these candidates - They are Senators- a salary to run for office- Perhaps they should resign- then double dip- so to speak!
