John Coleman, now a San Diego weathercaster, was the founder of The Weather Channel, and has spoken candidly on topics that affect the environment in the past. But his outrage at Al Gore and the hoax of global warming has stirred up Coleman's ire. Coleman wrote in his column on the KUSI web site: that Gore refuses to acknowledge the faulty research on which the idea of
global warming is based.

I am totally in favor of turning back this hoax of global warming. How do we band together to get our politicians to listen? This is nothing more than a red herring to redistribute wealth and dismantle America. Call it what it is. How do I help?
