The odds of dying from prostate cancer can be decreased dramaticly through adequate vitamin D intake either in the form of supplements or sunshine. In an article in the British Journal of Cancer, it was found that patients with “high” levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D(>32 ng/mL) that the relative risk from dying from prostate cancer was decreased by more than 80%. Its amazing what a little sunshine can do!
