I know that the media is obsessed, and rightly so on the death of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett today, but another pop singer passed today. Sky Saxon, bassist singer of the Seeds has died- famous for the 60's classic- "Pushin' too Hard!"

This was a great song.

I 100% agree. Sky Saxon inspired, in a good way, many future icons in the world of rock. It is a slap in the fact to ingore hime the way most of th emain stream media has. And to ad dinsult to injury - what was the top story last night? How a pitch man died! Maybe I missed out on how Oxi Clean and Billy Mays inspired rock, pop and punk icons like The Ramones, Patti Smith, The Bangles, Smashing Pumkpins and so many others.
