If Heidi Spencer Pratt succumbs to her hospitalization, I will revise this post, and feel really crappy. But for the time being the D-List reality couple who have been off again, on again, on the NBC show- I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here is off the show with her egomaniac husband Spencer.  Blame yourself for creating these folks into celebrities. Buying the magazines, reading the posts, watching the TV shows. It's all media created hype to sell advertising on a TV show. Sad that it comes down to this.  Their behavior on the show suggests that there can be only one Omarosa and Richard Hatch.

Greyhound Still Using Bus that Vince Li Beheaded Tim McLean! Is Nothing Sacred?

You remember last July the beheading of Tim McLean on a Greyhound bus by whacko Vince Li. Well one would think that Greyhound would pull the bus out of service, and either destroy it, or sell it. But nope the transportation company did "extensive restoration and cleaning" and redeployed it in another Canadian Province. McLean's mom thinks its "disrespectful" of the company.  I concur!

LAPD Det. Stephanie Lazarus Arrested For 23 Year Old Murder of Sherri Rae Rasmussen in Cold Case Scenario!

LAPD detectives had alot of time on their hands lately, as the murder rates are down in the City of Angels....and like the TV show "Cold Case", they took a look at a 23 year old case, hoping that new technology might bring closure.  The case they reviewed was the death of a 29 year old- Sherri Rae Rasmussen, who was brutally murdered in 1986. While reading the case files, Detectives noted that noted that one of their own could have been involved. As LAPD Detective Stephanie Lazarus's was the former girlfriend of John Ruetten, who married Rasmussen. Detectives had to keep this one close to the vest...they had saliva evidence, but needed Lazarus's saliva sample...so they had the Detective followed until she threw away something that had a saliva sample on it. Cut to the chase- A DNA match...and Lazarus was arrested.  It's a Cold Case story for Law and Order.

Hippy Teacher at FAIR HS, Rick Wright Cuts Hair to help student Megan Nurnberger!

Teacher Rick Wright hadn't cut his hair since his freshman year in high school, but  upon challenging FAIR HS students to raise $4,000 for him to cut his hair, Wright kept his part of the agreement after the money was raised. Wright issued the challenge on behalf of Megan Nurnberger who was suffering for Leukemia. Money raised was donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Way to Go Mr. Wright!!!

Ten Years After, Keef Hatley and The Band Don't Want to Be in the Woodstock 40th Anniversary Commerative CD Box Set!

On August 18, Rhino Records will release a six-CD, 77-song collection, "Woodstock -- 40 Years On: Back to Yasgur's Farm, but three artists opted out of the set, and that really sucks. The Band, Ten Years After, and Keef Hartley, will be the only artists missing. And its a shame. I don't know the reason....but Woodstock was a once in a life experience that change the course of music...and its truly a shame they have a problem with being on the commerative box set.

Out of Australia comes the story of Russell McPhee paralyzed for 20 years, can't walk...etc. Takes a botox shot a couple months ago, and now he can walk 65 feet. Botox is a muscle relaxant, and the posted UPI article states that Botox can be used to treat inital stroke victims.

Having owned six Saturns, when I heard that GM was going to sell Saturn a few months ago, I assumed I would be buying another brand car....but now, with reports Saturn is being sold to Roger Penske's Penske motors...I am thrilled, for the dealerships, and the employees. Penske has the ability to take the brand to another level.
