The mayor of Copenhagen sent out postcards to hotels housing the climate summit delegates asking them to warn visitors not to frequent the city's sex trade. Carnival Cruise TV spots focusing on Nightly Room Rate!

The other day I saw a Carnival Cruise Spot....and it really struck me that the international cruise company is going in a different marketing direction, as far at their TV spots are concerned. The focus was on the room cost per night- AS LOW AS $70 dollars per night. This is the first time I have seen a cruise operator stray from the fun of a cruise to the room rate. Interesting?

Stop the presses!!!!

...LAS VEGAS...the city where "what's happens here, stays here!" is concerned about strippermobiles, glass encased mobile show rooms that has strippers pole dancing. Deja Vu is using the medium for adverising and marketing....but city officials are concerned...about what?  probably traffic accidents due to the distracting nature of the dancing!   I wonder if the city officials would feel better if a tax was put into place for these type of adult themed vehicles?

But an "entrepeneur" snapped up about 5,000 and has put them up for auction at $.015 each- take all- no returns- one way sale.  According to the BBC story each condom wrapper carries the motto of the Beijing Games - faster, higher, stronger - in English and Chinese.

Sheila Rosko got the idea for "Stand By Your Man: 12 Women in Support of a Cure for Prostate Cancer" 2010 calendar from the movie Calendar Girls, about a group of women in England who created a nude calendar to raise funds for victims of leukemia. All proceeds from this calendar will go to the Prostate Cancer Coalition of New Jersey.  For those of you looking for NSFW nakedness- this ain't for you. It's for a charity!
