Burger King Does it Again! Pisses off Hindus with Goddess Ad!

Do you think Burger King is doing these types of ads to inflame people, or gain attention. First it was little people, now its Hindus with The  Goddess Ad which ran in Spain.  According to the UK Telegraph..."The advertisement shows a picture of Lakshmi, the Indian goddess of wealth, above one of the burgers, which are forbidden under Hindu religion"

Not to mention the sandwich pictured looks like a ham and cheese sandwich...and I believe pork is not eaten in the hindu religion.

Domino's Pizza Using Graffiti to Gets its Message Across?

If you live in L.A., Philly, or N.Y.C. you may see one of Domino's Graffiti messages power washed with a stencil into a dirty sidewalk.  It's what the company is calling "Green Graffiti, because it cleans part of the sidewalk, I say...Just clean the sidewalk, and hope for a little better publicity.

Pitchman Billy Mays Dead at 50! Will Product Manufacturers Pull His Commercials?

Just as I am watching a Monk marathon on Sleuth, a Billy Mays spot comes on. For those of you that don't know Mays, 50 has died at his Tampa Home. As the pitchman for Orange Clean, Orange Glo, and Kaboom and other TV products....I am just wondering if, out of respect for the man and his family, whether the product manufacturers would pull pull his spots for the time being.  I believe I know the answer...
Sad day in the infomercial market....Mays was the premier go-to-guy for Informericals.

Let Me Chime in on Perez Hilton Suing the Black-Eyed-Peas Road Manager!

Perez Hilton lives in a bubble, and the worst thing he could do for what little legitimacy and reputation he had left.....was first,  not apologizing for using the term "F@ggot "  in the heat of battle. Secondly...a lawsuit...what is with this guy?   He is a big crybaby.  When the personality gets bigger then the content...then there is a problem.  Gossip reporters are a dime a dozen, and this incident won't help Perez in the least.

General Custer's McDonalds Happy Meal Toy Stirs Up Native Americans!

McDonalds has a problem with an offensive Happy Meal Toy from the Movie Night at the Museum : Battle of the Smithsonian- the toy features Gen. George Custer on a Motorcycle, and Native Americans are pissed. Especially those where a local McDonalds serves them.  From Missoulian.com :

Fan adulation is taken to one level, when one dresses like the star, but when Lorna Bliss spend $250,000.00 to make herself look like Britney Spears...Psychologists would have another word for it...perhaps obsession? Gospel's Voices of Glory! Michael II, Avery and Nadia Cole - Are They the 2009 America's Got Talent's Early 2009 Favorites?

I am going to go out on a limb, after viewing the YouTube preview of this years edition of "America's Got Talent", and say that Voices of Glory tug at the judges and in-studio audience heartstrings with their unbelievable story ( They started singing "Songs of Zion" after their mother was comatose and seriously injured for 8 months after automobile crash - But will they be able to go all the way?  Time will tell. But remember Simon Cowell is executive producer...and anything could happen!! After viewing some of their YouTube video's- I wonder if they will go more mainstream, or stay with their Gospel style?

Just a sidenote that there are a few "Voices of Glory" gospel groups on the internet and YouTube- and it remains to be seen if some trademark issues come up with the name.
