eBay has been on a downward spiral since Meg Whitman vacated her CEO seat to John Donahue. Since Whitman left Donahue has pissed off sellers in mass. Driving them out of business or to other sites. eBay is really making its money thru Paypal and Stubhub. So the news of 1000 workers being laid off doesn't come as a great surprise to us "eBayers".
