Steve Hirsch, Vivid Entertainment and a few of the Vivid Girls were part of a segment of The Tonight Show starring Conan O'Brien last night, where Conan visits his Universal City neighbors. Vivid is located across the street from the Universal lot, so Vivid and the program are neighbors. Note: Conan Visits two other "neighbors" and they are within the clip.
WWE CEO Vince McMahon told the Los Angeles Times that he wants to launch a 24 hour wrestling network on basic cable. McMahon's WWE owns virtually all of the television and closed circuit broadcasts of every major wrestling organization that ever exicted- Except Jeff Jarrett's Total NonStop Wrestling (TNA). Though basic cable is the hardest tier of cable to get place on- I wouldn't count McMahon out by any means.
Thanks to OS&RR for this article. I didn't realize Netflix employees had to sign confidentiality agreements, allowing them to say who they work for but not the location of their employment. An insightful article from the Chicago Tribune.
Let me preface this post...I never much cared for Joan Rivers, and find her humor quite degrading.......
So today Rivers was doing a live interview promoting her TV Land series " How'd you get so Rich" or something to that effect on "Good Day Sacramento" when one of the co-hosts, asked about her daughter Melissa riding her coattails.......and boy did she go ballistic. Currently the video is only on TMZ, but it should be spreading virally shortly. Good thing the interview didn't ask her about her late husband Edgar and his suicide.
We can all rest easier today, now that we know that famed psychic Jame Van Praagh has spoken with the spirit of Michael Jackson. In the exclusive interview with Palluxo.com, Van Praagh says that Jackson is surrounded by happiness.....there was no foul play in his death...and he misses the children." The article goes on to state that Oprah has booked Van Praagh for a future appearance to discuss his conversations with the late "King of Pop!"
I am going to go out on a limb, after viewing the YouTube preview of this years edition of "America's Got Talent", and say that Voices of Glory tug at the judges and in-studio audience heartstrings with their unbelievable story ( They started singing "Songs of Zion" after their mother was comatose and seriously injured for 8 months after automobile crash - But will they be able to go all the way? Time will tell. But remember Simon Cowell is executive producer...and anything could happen!! After viewing some of their YouTube video's- I wonder if they will go more mainstream, or stay with their Gospel style?
Just a sidenote that there are a few "Voices of Glory" gospel groups on the internet and YouTube- and it remains to be seen if some trademark issues come up with the name.
Digital TV D-Day - June 12, 2009. Ten years in the making....and the day has finally arrived, and the media stories will take center stage. Who was unprepared!
Wouldn't a handshake just do? But no- Brian Williams in saying goodbye to President Obama shooked his hand and gave a small bow.....but so did Obama. So should their be a fuss?

Kate Goesselin of Jon & Kate Plus 8 on TLC made a published remark about Octomom Nadya Suleman. On a Dr.Phil show in Feb, Kate Gosselin had questioned the
ability of Suleman, who is unmarried, to deal with her total of 14
children, including eight she had in January according to the Mercury News. So Suleman shot back with this quote "She has her own obvious
issues, internal issues, and she needs to stop partially making
judgments towards me. She doesn't even know me," Suleman said of
Gosselin.
Can you imagine a Battle Royal with the Gosselin Clan vs the Suleman Clan at Wrestlemania 40 in 15 years?
This ought to boost the ratings of the tabloid shows!!!
