It could irony, or poor timing...but WPLG news anchor Charles Perez was fired by the station a week after filing a discrimination complaint against the staion owned by Post-Newsweek. Perez, who is openly gay, was recently demoted to weekend anchor, which he feels was done because of "the high profile of his sexual orientation." This ought to have a real interesting outcome since the station manager is openly gay.

Some think that Disney created Tiana, the first black Princess, in the upcoming animated release of "The Princess and the Frog" because of first lady Michelle Obama. Coincidence? Perhaps.....but an animated feature takes years to create, and the Obama's were probably only a blip when the first talk of the concept for the movie came out.

The only rule the CJ Ranch has, is if you ride a horse, you have to wear pants and boots. The problem is, the area is not zoned for this type of business.

Leonard W. Cooper was reading the bible in the barber shop he has worked at for 22 years, when a man came in holding a blade, and asked for money. When Cooper showed the robber he had no money, the man decided to reach in Cooper's pockets and see for himself. That's when the 66 year old grabbed the man and thru him thru a glass door.
