A group of teenage Spanish students are making news, after spending $86 USD to launch a weather balloon and digital camera- sending back pictures from outerspace. The pics are amazing. Since the pics are copyrighted- you will have to click the link
When I first saw this story, I thought, here we go, another UFO story. But author Ronald Nussback goes in depth, using a new photographic technique and shows in pictures some stunning evidence. In fact Nussback has challenged scientists to disprove his theory related to the photographs.

Scientists are calling it an a "thermal anomaly". Firefighters, last Friday were summoned to a patch of land that was on fire. When they got there 3 acres had burned, and the fire was smoldering. According to Fox News: Officials who are familiar with the patch of land, which is near the large Sespe Oil Field, have come up with a few theories as to why the ground soared to 812 degrees fahrenheit on August 1.One theory is that natural hydrocarbons, such as oil or gas, are burning deep in the earth and seeping out through cracks in the area, causing the surface to rapidly heat and generate smoke.
812 Degrees- Now that is Hot! - Don't mess with Mother Nature!!
Dr. Ed Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut and moonwalker, in a interview today in the UK admitted that Aliens do exist and that the government has covered it up for over six decades. Mitchell in the interview said that "sources at NASA who had contact with aliens said they were "little people that looked strange to us". But one of the most startling quotes from the interview was- "had they been hostile," he warned "we would be been gone by now." The problem is and will be- there is no concrete proof....yet!
Free Bird! Make It Louder! Real Loud!........overheard in a bar on Saturday Night?
The French Journal - Alcoholism: Clinical & Experimental Research has released a study that shows that loud music in bars makes a patron down a glass of beer three minutes more quickly, then non-loud music. According to the MSNBC.com article: “We have shown that environmental music played in a bar is associated
with an increase in drinking,” Nicolas Gueguen, a behavioral sciences
researcher at the University of Southern Brittany in France, who led
the study, said in a statement. Louder music spurred more consumption, with the average number of
drinks ordered by patrons rising to 3.4 drinks from 2.6 drinks, Gueguen
found. The time taken to drink a beer fell to an average 11.45 minutes
from 14.51 minutes. The study did note some variables saying it was done on a small scale, and could not be applied to every bar.
I can see every bar owner in the country, hearing about this report, saying to their employees, "Keep the Music- Loud! Real Loud". And will Beverage distributors be distributing free music that is mixed louder- to increase sales in venues.
Jessica Lafreniere, 21 was in her garage during a thunderstorm filling up water balloons, when a lightning bolt struck hit her feet and escaped through her nose ring. The jolt landed her in her mother's arms, stiff as a board and blue & purple, her Mom said. Jessica is okay, but the top of her lip and nose are numb.
Here's the hook on this story, forget she got struck by lightning; forget that the lightning escaped thru her nose ring..... According to WBZ TV- Jessica and her mother figured with this luck they should buy a scratch lottery ticket. They did and they won $20. Personally, I would rather not get struck by lightning. I love global warming stories. Pretty soon, doomsday advocates will say we are eating food that makes us fart more, and that is increasing global warming. But this story is serious. Real serious. All those manufacturers and distributors of those flat screen plasma and LCD TV's are the real culprits of global warming according to a post by ABC Science. Nitrogen Triflouride (NF3) is 17,000 times as powerful as carbon dioxide- and its being used in those nifty gotta have TV's. The question now is: How much is being released into the atmosphere. I wonder if the TV screen used in Al Gore "An Incovenient Truth" released NF3 into the air???? ABC Science- Flat Screen TV increase Global Warming.

Scientists at the Meyrin, Switzerland location of the Large Haldron Collider, the World's largest atom smasher are trying to alleviate fear that once "the ring of supercooled magnets 17 miles in circumference attached to huge barrel-shaped detectors" is switched on, it will create black holes that will swallow up the earth. The collider is buried 330 feet in the earth between the France and Swiss Border.
A seed found in the ruins of Masada has been germinated and has grown into a Judean date sapling named the Methuselah Tree. The seed was planted 24 months ago, and the plant today stands nearly four feet. Scientists are hoping to revive the plant, extinct in Israel, because of its medical uses.
