Is the National Enquirer Story about an alleged affair between GOP VP Candidate Sarah Palin and Scott Richter, a former business associate of Todd Palin, fizzling out? Remember last week when Richter sought a court order to seal his dissolution of marriage documents? Many thought it would reveal torrid details of the alleged affair, and the Enquirer would have all the dirt!
TSG reports: According to the filing, Richter wanted the documents deemed confidential in a bid to cloak details about his home, workplace, and phone numbers because "reporters and news agencies" were using that information to contact him.
Does this hurt the credibility of the National Enquirer? Perhaps, but I am sure the Lantana based tabloid will have a new scandal next week.
