A fundraising letter was sent to Framingham State College Alumni soliciting funds, and to inject some humor the writer decided to inject some blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, into the body of the letter. In fact the blah was injected into the letter 137 times. The College has over 6,000 alumni and many were not amused by the letter. The college's advancement department apologized for the blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and "misguided attempt at humor to reach the younger grads." The letter did motivate 40 alums to donate a total of $2000 dollars.
