' Russia's Got Talent' Musical Bow and Arrow Shooting Head Shot Segment Goes Terribly Wrong! Is it a Hoax?

Okay so its a chintzy production compared to Britain's Got Talent, and America's Got Talent....plus their is no Simon Cowell, or Sharon Osbourne...but this video of "Russia's Got Talent"  or just "Talent" as it says on the curtain! The end may have you say the same thing as I at the end....But now, I am wondering if this is a viral video for the energy/softdrink that was placed on the subjects head?  I can't seem to find any verification from any 'reliable' news source about this ' tv clip' accident!

The names are in Russian, but the sign and glasses on table are Talent in english. THere is no safety equipment behind the guy even if it was real, doesn't that seem odd???? Knowone would qustion a guy with a bow and arrow walking in as to what his talent is.....

if this was real, there would be news reports on the internet of a talent show audition going wrong etc. Do you really think this would happen and not make the news, but would be forwarded in emails?

Not to mention the fact that it was all edited together. Why would a professional editing team go to the trouble of editing it all together, not to mention the audio, if it was never going to be on tv in the first place.

Regardless if it is true or not; I mean seriously, I don't care if his dead or alive, he's not on my Christmas card list, however, my heart stopped for a seconds, my body froze, a gasp of air & then I questioned it authenticity. That feeling is enough, geeze. Kudos if it was a gag, ditto if he's 6ft under! You expect the TRUTH from the media? Good Luck!

But anyway even not knowing that, you could guess right.

This is debunked by taking a snapshot of the arrow in flight prior to it striking the victims head.
Note that the arrow flies in a "arc" flight path. This is true of archery, but not at close range.
Draw a mental line from the arrow path to the head and you will note that it is about to strike the victim at the nose area, not the forehead as the video editor chose.
Note that the line that the body and feet of the archer on on places the arrow passing harmlessly to the right of the victim, by at least 5 feet. Note that the victim places himself on a slanted line to the archer.
The victim does fall naturally to the floor, but an arrow never strikes him. Nor does the arrow appear to everyone on the set that is in awe and horror. The arrow is quick cut in, at a high angle to the head by the tricky editor who has figured out digital editing with his new imac.
We use this technique quite a bit in our music video editing.

:D don't worry its not a viral ad, but in fact, it is false. The TV program was real, and the stupid show was planned to achieve that effect on the judge when the arrow stroke.

you guys are morons. yes this is real. very real. you can freeze the video and see the arrow flying at him. you can even see a small amount of blood and the sound it made when it his was way to real to fake.

no he wouldn't just fall down to his knees physics would have pushed his body back just like you saw him do and his bone structure could have been stuck in place when he got hit his mucals would have tightened up when hit.

I think the biggest tell-tale sign that this video is faked would have to be the sound guy with the boom microphone. When the performer goes to grab the can, the boom operator is standing to the right side of the judges panel. The performer takes the can and walks back over to the stage and sets up the arrow shot. During this whole time, the sound guy does not appear in shot or run across the stage.

Once the arrow is fired and the guy falls down injured, the camera pulls away and the boom operator is now standing on the left, behind the guy shooting the arrows. Freeze the frame at both sections of the video and you will see it's the same guy with the exact same clothes on.

Now... if this is supposed to be one long, continuous segment, then how the hell did he get from one side of the room to the other without even appearing in shot? Did he run across and set himself up while the camera was focused on the shooter and the judges? I believe this strongly suggests editing has been performed and during the break the sound guy ended up standing in the wrong spot.

Or, perhaps the crew failed to notice the continuity problem and placed him in the shot, thinking it would add that extra sense of realism. What do you think?

Look at the video on the 53rd second, the judge doesnt have anything infront of him except the stupid enrgy drink and a glass containing a black soft drink.

Then watch the 55th second when the guy goes 2 reach out for the enrgy drink....notice how this time there is a sheet of papper infront of the judge?!

Further more dont you think its kind of strange they dont show us the guy fall right down after he has been shot? instead they change angles back 2 the slutty judges reaction.
