Meet Ashley Force's Little Sister- Courtney- the Newest NHRA Drag Racer in the John Force Family!

John Force is a character, always moving, fiddling, nervous, and the like....so having a second daughter drag racing must be giving him anxiety. We all know how he felt about Ashley from watching the A&E series that was on a couple years ago.... Sports by Brooks has an interesting feature on Courtney Force, Ashley's younger sister, and the newest drag racer in the Force Family...and she is a cutie, and that will definitely help the NHRA fan base. Look what Danica Patrick did for the Indy Series!!

USAC Driver Chad McDaniels Killed at US Auto Club Midget Nationals!

USAC Driver Chad McDaniels was injured on the 18th lap of 20 lap King Doodlebug Classic in Knoxville, IA yesterday. McDaniels struck Davey Ray's car after Ray's car had flipped.  He died of neck and head injuries. Our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Chad McDaniels

I guess the kid never heard of Personal Injury Lawyers, but $5?  Being hit and knocked on the hood of the car must have impaired his judgement.  The hit and run took place in Myrtle Creek Ore, and police are investigating.

David Bushee spend 60K sprucing up 1966 Blue Ford GT Mustang Convertible bought on eBay! Problem is..It's not His!

A Pennsylvania woman had been storing a classic Ford Mustang at Tow Truck owners converted chicken coop for years and noticed it was missing. We come to find out the 1966 blue Ford GT Mustang convertible was sold on eBay for $8,000 five years ago and put over $60,000 into restoring it to its original luster. Police are looking for the eBay seller to determine how he came into possession of the car.

It will be interesting to see how many more seasons TLC will stay with a single Teutel fronting the program. I realize Paulie and Mikey are inserted in the series, but it is not the same, by any means. Senior needs an adversary full time to make this work again!

Just a thought that one commenter made. but has American Chopper with this "incident" - Jumped the Shark?

Update: As we go to the third week of no Paulie at OCC, commenters have noted the he is indeed back at Orange County Choppers. No word on when the reunion episode will air - but if the show wasn't really the same without him. It would have been interesting if he had gone in business with Vinnie and Cody at V-Force

Now this story, could be just hype for the new season of American Chopper, because Paul Teutul, Sr, and Paul Jr, have fought like cats and dogs during all the 7 seasons of AC. It does makes for good reality tv. But this is the first time- Senior has fired Junior.  I guess we will have to tune in to see the firing, and whether, it is a story arc, that will end with Jr. getting hired back to work at Orange County Choppers or will he go out on his own.

Just a note after watching the show....its like a car running on 3 wheels. The chemistry  and relationship between Sr. and Jr. is really needed for this show to be successful....the arguments were an integral part of the series, and the last half hour of the show seemed flat to say the least.  My bet is Paul Jr. will return.

Honda Does it Again with Insight Hybrid Commercial! Animated LED's Using Cars!

Honda has been creating marketing that is outside of the box for some time. You might remember the road in California that plays "William Tell Overture". The latest from Honda is to promote there Green initiative for the Honda Insight Hybird. Using cars as LED's the commercial plays like a computerized scoreboard. Ikea's Leko Car! Reportedly A Car Sharing Service!

A website has been launched touting the March 31 automobile, The Leko from Ikea.
Some folks feel it may be a prank for April Fool's Day other suggest it really is a viable car being launched for an environmental week in France. Whatever it is, it will gather interest in the coming week.  Fast Company is now reporting its a car-sharing service available in France
