The social web site, hothuskers.com has caught the attention of University of Nebraska officials. What they are upset about is the use of the U of N logo, and other intellectual property- Not so much the pictures of Husker Hotties in various forms of undress, and other Cornhusker related photos and info. When I reviewed the site, I didn't find anything offensive, and it does appear that the web site has removed anything resembling U of N logos, mascots etc.
When I was searching the net trends today. I saw the name Karen Cunagin Sypher come up...and lo and behold, she is woman that Rick Pitino, the Louisville Basketball coach had an affair with, got pregnant and then paid for her abortion and then she allegedly tried to extort additional money from him
. So what's the big deal with Sypher...Everyone is searching for her picture- they are on the web!
Indianapolis is set to host the Final Four next year, no doubt this incident will spark an "outrage", as Mayor Ballard came to the aid of a victim in need of medical attention- only to be surrounding by three others who stole his cellphone out of his pocket.
The Memphis Tigers were playing SMU in NCAA basketball, and it was FedEx appreciation nite....so the Tigers had originally opted to play in NCAA approved jerseys of the FedEx colors of Orange and Purple. But after careful thought and examination, the Tigers opted for traditional jerseys, as both FedEx and the Team feared a backlash from the public over what may have been construed a commercial for FedEx.
Now that's real corporate responsibility. I wonder if those jerseys will be sent to a third world nation???
One could say that Houston's Aubrey Coleman was less than sportsmanlike, when he intentionally set his big foot down on the face of Arizona's Chase Buddinger, while Buddinger was spralled out on the ground, after a foul was called. Not a good move by Coleman. Arizona won in overtime 96-90.
The searches for Lois Feldman has been consistent since the story broke a week ago. But the focus of most of the posts and stories is on Feldman, and not of Ross M.Walsh of Linden, IA, the man who was also arrested for having sex in the Metrodome bathroom stall. Is this a double standard or what? So I thought....to keep the story alive- let's focus on Walsh, and see if he has done any interviews, or if he was fired, or if his life is now ruined. He is probably getting high fives from his friends and enjoying a brewski or two with this 15 minutes of fame. I do wonder what his girlfriend said to him, when the police released him into her custody. If any readers have any stories/posts on Walsh, please post them in Comments.
KCCI This is an older post and the pic may or may not be his current girlfriend.
It's now been a year since the Lois Feldman incident- and the Pioneer Press decided to revisit the story...much to the chagrin of residents of Caroll,IA- UPDATE
Update: It will be a month in a couple days since this story broke, and it still is getting the hits, but Lois Feldman and those associated with this story are staying out of the public eye.
Lois K Feldman of Carroll, IA was drunk. Ross Walsh of Linden, IA was drunk. The two Iowans were in Minneapolis at the Metrodome watching the Iowa Hawkeyes vs Minnesota Golden Gophers football game. The two had never met. But this story took place in the Men's Room handicapped stall, as the two hooked up, and were caught having sex as a cheering bathroom audience looked on. Both were arrested. Walsh was released to his girlfriend, and Feldman to her husband. One would have to believe that it was a l-o-n-g ride home. BTW The Hawkeyes won 55-0.
Until I saw this, I thought maybe the ref just got in the way. But as you watch this short video- you will see the ref move with Garcia- and give him a strong shoulder block.
