What's Up? Time Off from Blogging Brings Serenity to My Life Again!

Many longtime readers may have noticed, that stories have been quite infrequent lately?  That's because- I wanted to see what life was like without being on the computer 24/7 looking for stories to post. In fact during this period, I started listening to classical radio. The results are in- and my life appears to me to be more serene- then ever.  Not hearing about the latest mass murders, corrupt public official, or downturn in the economy didn't affect me one iota.

But this blog has been a labor of love - part-time for the last 3+ years.....and when I find those stories that turn my light on- I will be posting them still.

Televangelists Benny Hinn and Paula White Deny Romantic Affair! Shades of Jim Bakker?

If only Dr. EuGene Scott were alive today to see this......The National Enquirer is being slammed by both the Paula White and Benny Hinn Organizations about a published linking the two televangelists romantically.  Hinn's wife filed for divorce in Feb, and White has been divorced twice.  It will be interesting to see how this plays out.....

Jesus Appears on UK Drainpipe!

As many of you know it's been rather slow for Jesus and Virgin Mary sightings in 2010 so when I find these apparitions, It makes me smile. This is not your run of the mill sighting that kinda or sorta looks like the Holy Father- this looks like the real deal......or perhaps Jeff Lynne from ELO?

According to the Coventry Telegraph-

The Anglican church say it’s the first time an image like this has appeared in the city but it’s by no means the first time the son of God has appeared elsewhere – in 2006 an image was apparently found on the backside of a terrier named Angus.

20 year old Britanny Canarella of Pittsfield, MA was cited for running down Lord Jesus Christ in a crosswalk. Yes that is his legal name! and sadly, no picture was available.

No TLC Special Announced Yet! Virgin Mary Holding Jesus Appears on Shower's Marble Finished Tile in New Mexico Home!

It's Easter Sunday, and I was getting concerned there would be no Jesus or Virgin Mary image sighting...but alas- From Belen, New Mexico comes the story of the image of the Holy Mother holding Jesus which appeared in Danell Griego's shower stall according to the provided picture. But the story suggests the image appears in a bathtub. I wonder if TLC will make a documentary on this phenomenon reported internationally Easter Sunday.

Toby Elles Frys Bacon! Finds the Face of Jesus Burnt in the Pan

If I am correct- this is the first Frying Pan religious icon sighting for the year- and what a sighting it is. Young Toby Elles was frying some bacon, fell asleep, awoke to a small fire and much to his surprise, dismay, etc- the face of Jesus was burnt into the surface of the frying pan.  And its a quite good image- if I say so myself. Toby says- he will never clean the pan.  You may wonder why I don't show the pictures- it's because its from THE SUN and they are sticky about copyrights- but you can find the image also at Buzzfeed.

Jesus Appears in a Brownies Famous Pizzeria Tub of Tomato Sauce!

Another Jesus sighting reported, this time in a refrigerated tub of tomato sauce in Scranton, PA.  Mary Louise Salerno found the image last week, but hesitated to tell the media or many of her friends- as she felt the image was a clear sign- and didn't want critics . The tub has since been scrubbed clean but a vision of the image lives on.
