What's this? American's are getting gouged by cell phone services? How could that be? I could say that all the services are selling is air, and their is an abundance of that. But the service providers will counter with the R&D and upkeep of their cellular networks. Not to mention all that advertising...."Can You Hear Me Now"....Catherine Zeta Jones....The Sprint NASCAR Cup....and so on. But Americans are paying a premium for cell phone service...and The Consumerist takes a look at that.
God is......and that's all I can say about the subject. Allen Wright was laying in bed one night and came up with the idea to let iPhone users pray in cyberspace, so he created an iPhone App. How is app got to be an iPhone app is an amazing story, as he was 1 of 20,000 people who submitted programs for consideration to Medl mobile.
I guess today, Beau is one happy dog.....after taking his collar off for a bath, Amanda Wells saw Beau run off in December 2007, only to be found recently as a stray in Bay County, FL by an animal control officer who picked up the llasha Apso stray, and noted the microchip embedded in his back. Owner Amanda Wells made the trip from Metarie, LA to pick up Beau....and is definitely a fan of the microchip process. Bet she won't bathe him without his collar in the future!

You know the squiggly CFL bulbs that "Green" environmentalists are touting...Well, this article in UK's Times Online should make anyone think twice about the cost saving vs the possible pitfalls of using the bulb......From the article: The risks are illustrated by guidance from the British government, which says
that if a compact fluorescent lightbulb is broken in the home, the room
should be cleared for 15 minutes because of the danger of inhaling mercury vapor!
I know its difficult to review all the new applications at the iPhone Apps store, and some fall thru the cracks. I guess Baby Shaker was one of those. The developers must have thought that creating an app, with crying baby, one would shake to quiet down, would be something the public would want. What will we see next, a molotov cocktail app, that when you toss the iPhone and it falls, you hear an explosion.
You really think the legion of Apple fans, and geeks in this world wouldn't create a "system" that would help "The Woz?" CNN has the story as Steve Wozniak keeps dancing away, and not being eliminated. Plus its probably good for ratings as we enter the April Sweeps!
Ever tried to stop an email once its sent? Hell, one time years ago I even pulled the plug on the computer hoping the email wouldn't be delivered. Gmail now has instituted a feature that allows you to unsend an email. The Washington Post story tells you how to activate the "panic" button for use.
