Next week I will be attending a trade show in Vegas. We have sent our booth and samples to the Show Organizers, and I will leave for Vegas on Saturday and return late Wed night. In that time, I will meet and greet clients, and find new leads- all the time discussing my products and services with those who are interested. It will be a long day of expensive food, and not enough sleep. Our ROI should be good, so it will all be worth it.
Is the future of trade shows- the virtual trade show? You log on your computer and sign in as a registrant or exhibitor, and then you explore the trade show floor in 3-d having the ability to question manufacturers, and view their presentations. The cost is not cheap- it will run you around $25K, but think of the time you will save- and the leads generated will be specific. It won't be good for convention centers, or host cities,- but we don't have telegrams anymore either.
