Armenian & Greek Monks Clash at Church of Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem

A clash between Armenian and Greek Orthodox monks broke out in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. The fight started when the Greeks protested that one of their Monks was not present in the procession of Armenian clergymen commemorating the 4th-century discovery of the cross believed to have been used to crucify Jesus.  The clash was caught on tape.

RIP- Lower the Flag! MTV is Retiring TRL (Total Request Live)! What Will Teenage Girls Do After School?

Sad Sad News for the teenage set. After 10 years- MTV is cancelling retiring cancelling TRL from its schedule according to Variety.com  Total Request Live debuted Sept. 14, 1998 with Carson Daly as host, and was a mainstay of the MTV afternoon lineup.

According to Variety: The musicvid countdown show will depart in mid-November with a two-hour Saturday-afteroon special. Its departure will coincide with the return of another musicvid-themed show, “Feedback New MTV” (“FNMTV”), which channel officials say is drawing more interest from viewers and music labels at his point.

Once again, its all about ratings, advertising dollars, and profit. I asked my daughter (19) who grew up with TRL how she felt...and she said "Dad, Don't Bother Me!- Get Out of My Room, Please"
