Update 8/23: Dr. Bill Shanhan was fired from his position at Fort Hays State University in KS because of this. In fact the University has now suspended its debate program.

You are going to witness grown adults with Doctorates who head University Debate teams arguing in real time, in real life. The money shot is supposedly that Dr. Shanahan moons Dr. Brinkley during the "debate" but I can't find it on my first look ( The Mooning is at :37 into the tape- thanks Tim). Both Universities must be proud of their employees.

Lillian France 85, attacked and robbed in her Brooklyn Elevator- Video

The thug looks like he is in his 20's. Why he picked on an 85 year old woman using a cane only shows the cowardness of the robber, who got away with $900- (which probably lasted him an hour or two at the most). Police are hoping by releasing this video, that someone will be able to identify the criminal. Ms. France is being treated at a local hospital for her injuries.

The reporter Tamara Urushadze was only grazed by the sniper fire- but just the intensity of the moment- causes one to think- This is War and it could have been much worse. Why she was wearing yellow is beyond me. Camouflage would have been more suited for this type of situation.

Korean TV pissed off the Chinese! Advance 2008 Bejing Olympic Ceremony Footage Removed From YouTube! But Still online

This story will be over in 7 days, as next Friday are the Olympic Opening Ceremonies. But you don't want to piss the Chinese off, and that is just what Korean TV did when they filmed a rehersal of the opening cermonies and showed it on Korean TV. Let's just say Abracadabra- the internet picked it up- and I can not imagine how angry the Chinese were. They want these Olympics to go perfectly....yeah right. The sidebar stories- if they do get by Chinese censors, will give the world a glimpse into the World's most populated nation. For now this advance peek- looks stunning

Courageous Danny Way at X-Games 14! 2 Slams during Big Air Competition- Comes Back for 5th Run- Amazing Video

Danny Way had a rough time after his first and fourth run on the Big Air- laying on the ramp after a major slam for close to 5 minutes receiving medical attention- he walked off gingerly. On his 4th run- he hit his head coming down- and medical attention was given to him- but he walked off....... and went for his fifth run - Whoa- he made the 5th Run amazing- Intense Emotions - Bob Burnquist- Gold; Danny Way -Silver; Jake Best- Bronze....I may be over 50, but watching X-Games 14 and blogging for the second year - The Big Air...these guys are nuts...but they are also amazing athletes!

Illusionist Criss Angel's Escape From the Imploding Clearwater's Spyglass Motel- MyFox Tampa Bay Captures How it Was Done! (Spoiler)

I like Criss Angel- I think he is an expert illusionist, but sometimes the illusions are so far fetched- that one wonders what the trick is. That was the case of last nites live A & E program where a Clearwater's Spyglass Motel was blown up, and Criss had to escape.  It reminded me of David Copperfield's trick where he transported a man to a desert island to visit his father. Ahh the technology of Video tape.

But- I even figured it out- but I won't say..... The show probably got great ratings...and isn't that what counts?  Perhaps the producers should have cordoned off the airspace!
